Within these 6 days of trekking, we will come across multitudes of crystal clear lakes. Amidst these lakes are the stunning views of Himalayan ranges including the world’s tallest mountain; the Everest. During this tour, one can mingle with Bhutanese local villagers and get chance to know about their way of living.
Provided you have license, we will dedicate most of our days fishing and visiting these beautiful lakes.

Day 01: Arrival at Paro– Thimphu (65 km) (cultural sightseeing)

Welcome to Bhutan. Your guide and driver will pick you up from Paro International airport and transfer to Thimphu (capital). The drive from Paro to Thimphu will take around one hour. After reaching Thimphu, check into your hotel, enjoy your lunch and set out for exploring Thimphu city and places around it. Towards evening visit to National Memorial Chorten, mingle with elderly people, circumambulate the stupa and get blessed.

National Memorial Chorten: Located in the heart of Thimphu city, it was built in 1974 by Her Majesty the Queen Mother Ashi Phuntsho Choden in memory of her son, Third King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck. The three-storey choeten houses several relics such as Phurba Lhatshog, Kagay, Khrowo Nampur Gyalwa, Guru Tshengye, and Khenlop Chesum. The choeten is today the spiritual nerve centre of the city.

If there is enough time left, we will pay visit to Buddha Statue at Kuenselphodrang.

Buddha Dordenma: Located at Kuenselphodrang, facing Thimphu valley down bellow is the worlds’ largest and tallest Buddha statue standing at the height of 169 feet (52m). The statue houses one hundred thousand of smaller Buddha statues, the exact replica of the outer Buddha statue. From here one can have a 360 degree view of Thimphu valley.

Day 02: Thimphu – Genekha – Gur (trekking)

After our breakfast from Thimphu, we will drive to Genekha from where our trek begins. From here we will descent down to the stream and after crossing the stream, trail then ascends till we reach our campsite located at Gur, above a pasture land for yaks.

Time taken: 5 hours
Campsite altitude: 3290 m
Day 03: Gur – Labatama (trekking)

Today the trail will lead us through a lush meadows and rich mountain vegetation, treating with wonderful views. The trail ascends till a pass from where you can have a spectacular view of Mt. Kangchenjunga (8586m) the third highest mountain in the world, sitting in between Nepal and India border. From this pass we will descend down crossing through numbers of yak herder camps before reaching our campsite located just next to Lake Uthso.

Time taken: 5 hours
Campsite altitude: 4300 m

Day 04: Halt at Labatama (trekking)
Today we will dedicate our day for exploring around Labatama area. We will take short excursion to nearby 3 Lakes; Hen, Jamo and Reli. We will try our luck in trout fishing here (fishing permits are required).
Day 05: Labatama – Panka (trekking)
Today we will trek alongside Lake Dala and ascend till the peak (4520m) from where we will have a wonderful view of world’s tallest mountain, Everest (8848m) located in Nepal. From here the trail slowly descends till we reach our next stopover at Panka.

Campsite altitude: 4000m
Day 06: Panka – Talakha (trekking)
After crossing numbers of passes we will reach Talakha Goemba (monastery), where we will stop for our night. Few monks reside here at this Goemba. You can have a wonderful view of Thimphu valley from here.

Campsite altitude: 3080 m
Day 07: Talakha – Chamgang – Paro (trekking)
From the monastery, we will descend down to Chamgang village and then to road point where your driver and car will be waiting. From here, we will drive towards Paro and in the evening we will visit to following places in Paro:
Paro Ta Dzong: Located on a spur above Rinpung Dzong, five and a half kilometres’ drive from Tshongdu town, the dzong was built in the mid-17th century as a watchtower overlooking Rinpung Dzong by Lanyongpa Tenzin Drukdra and Chogyal Migyur Tenpa. The circular dzong houses the National Museum of Bhutan.
Paro Rinpung Dzong: Located on the bank of Pachu River, Paro Dzong, formally known as Rinchen Pung Dzong (shortened to Rinpung Dzong), was built in 1644 under the command of Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. It is one of the most beautiful and historically importantdzongs in the country. Today, it houses both district administration and monastic body.
Kichu Lhakhang: Located about 10 minutes’ drive from Paro town, the temple is one of the two among 108 temples built by Tibetan King Songtsen Gampo in the 7th century to subdue a demon that lay supine across Tibet and Bhutan. The temple contains sacred relics dating back to the 7th century like a statue of Lord Buddha and four statues of Chagtong Chentong. It also contains the statues of Guru Nangsi Zilnon, Dolma Kukuli (a manifestation of Tara), Zhabdrung, the bone relic of his Holiness Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche.

Day 08: Departure
Your wonderful journey of Bhutan ends today. After your breakfast, our guide and driver will see you off at Paro International Airport.

If you want to cancel your trip, your payment made will be refunded after deducting the bank charges and other service charges. But the visitors have to let us know immediately as and when they decide to cancel their tour.

Tour Programs booked and subsequently cancelled shall be subject to cancellation charges as follows: –

within 60 days of the start of the tour programme: Free
within 30 days: 15% of the rate
within 14 days: 30% of the rate
within 7 days: 50% of the rate
Less than 7 days or cancellation without notice: 100% of the rate

There shall be no charge for the number of days of delay in departure of visitor due to weather conditions, Druk Air/Bhutan Airline problems or roadblocks. They will be charged only the actual expenses on accommodation, food transport and any other services required.
